if you like a heartfelt story that's nice and well written, then you'd like this. i actually read the whole book in 30 minutes, as it's not very long. i found the characters solid and quite likable. Joseph and Kendra make a lovely couple. i really enjoyed this story.
I was waiting and wanting more. No offense but Ted happened the next day besides the fact she went to work and her family? They knew something she didn't. Like the other review it was a great start but I want more.
I would not even all this a novella but it is a great start to an interesting paranormal story that needs futher development. Can someone please take the overall premise of this story and really development a fully romance with it? If this is done I will love to read it.
Good idea for a story, but way too short (16) pages and it's over unresolved!.

Kendra is a Black forest ranger who is out locking the gates and posting signs when, a blizzard is approaching. She notices bison and wolves and calls in for help as she is afraid that the wolves will kill the endangered species. The office tells her to forget about it and get back in before the blizzard hits. While attempting to follow orders, she notices that they are playing, not fighting, then she slips, falls, bumps her head and twists her ankle.
Turns out they are shape shifter Indian shamans, her half
Indian grandmother was one of them (although she left the tribe before learning her powers).
The eldest son saves her, mates with her and she gets powers but doesn't know it because he puts her back in the jeep in the early morning and the story ends!
Talk about a hot mess!
Save your money until she finishes the dang book!
