Have been reading the 7 volumes daily for the last 20 years and are a great source of spiritual support. Read together with Magnificat for the readings of the day. Even though the daily readings in the books are based on the teachings of the founder of the Opus Day, they are not dogmatic. There are rather broad and suitable for all "types" of Catholics. Sometimes the readings get too imaginative, trying to describe what happened at some points ,during the life of Christ, but this should not detract form making a good daily meditation.How many times I have found consolation inn the readings during stressful times!!
It is a blessing that the 7 volumes came out in electronic versions, so I do not have to carry the book with me when traveling. And can use the many apps (Laudate, iBreviary) available for the daily readings, without having to carry the Magnificat either.
My minor quibble is that some of the volumes were split in two for the electronic version, so now you have to buy 12 books. But in any case, it is worth the convenience.

I love this set of meditations that follows the liturgical calendar! I have the whole set now, both on my kindle and in paperback. They are very insightful and help to make my own daily conversation with God a very rich time of meditation with the Lord.
A great start to each day! The kindle version makes it readily available to both my husband and myself at the same time. And love that it's always available on my phone to refer back to throughout the day.
I know that this book has provided 'food' for a perfect Lenten reflection. It is my sinfulness that kept my Lent from being perfect. But this book has helped me tremendously!
The most insightful daily devotional I have ever read!
Father Francis often quotes Saint Jose-Marie Escriva, down to earth, personal, practical, Christocentric, yet remembering that to be human is to have a mother. These are meditations with the purpose of forming new habits of prayer and new resolves to love our fellow man more for the sake of Jesus.
Anyone wanting to deepen their spiritual life and their relationship with our Savior will benefit from this series. There's one section, a few pages long, for each day of the liturgical year. Read it in the morning (takes about 15 minutes) and think about it & live it all day long.
I own the paperback version but this is more convenient because I can just read it on my phone or tablet. Very nice! Planning to order the rest later
